What size should a favicon be?
Browser tabs use 16×16 and 32×32 pixels. This tool also generates 48×48, a 180×180 Apple touch icon for iPhone home screens, and 192/512px icons for Android.
What image formats can I upload?
PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF and SVG. Square images with a transparent background give the sharpest result — add padding if your logo touches the edges.
How do I add the favicon to my website?
Upload favicon.ico to your website's root folder, then paste the snippet (button above) inside the <head> of your HTML. Most browsers pick it up automatically from the root too.
