About Dino Runner
Everyone knows the little pixel dinosaur that appears when the internet goes down. This is that game — a faithful endless runner rebuilt for the browser, and you can play it whether you are online or not. The dino sprints on its own; your only jobs are timing your jumps over cactus clusters and ducking under swooping pterodactyls.
What keeps it addictive is the speed curve: the game gets a little faster every 100 points, so your comfortable rhythm is always one run away from breaking. Pterodactyls appear from 300 points and fly at three heights — duck low ones, jump or ignore high ones.
Tips for a high score
- Jump late, not early: a late jump spends less time in the air and lands you past the cactus.
- Duck the low flyers: pterodactyls at head height are easier ducked than jumped.
- Hold jump for tall clusters: three-cactus walls need a full held jump.
- Watch the horizon, not the dino: your reaction time improves when you spot obstacles early.
