How to use this resume builder

  1. Fill in the form on the left — every keystroke updates the live preview on the right.
  2. Pick a template: Modern looks great when you email your CV directly; ATS Classic is the safest choice for uploading to job portals and company career pages.
  3. Download the finished resume as an HTML file (opens in any browser, easy to re-edit) or hit Print / Save as PDF and choose "Save as PDF" in the print dialog for an A4 PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Is this resume builder really free with no sign-up?

Yes. Fill in the form, see the live preview, and download your resume as an HTML file or print it to PDF — no account, no email, no watermark, no paywall. Everything runs in your browser.

Will my resume pass applicant tracking systems (ATS)?

Use the ATS Classic template: single-column layout, standard section headings (Experience, Education, Skills), real text rather than text inside images, and simple date formats. That is what ATS parsers read reliably. The Modern template is better for sending directly to a hiring manager by email.

Should a European CV include a photo?

It depends on the country. Photos are still common on CVs in Germany, France, Spain and much of Southern and Eastern Europe, but discouraged in the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands and Scandinavia. This builder has an optional photo upload — add it only when it is customary in the country you are applying to.

Is my personal data safe in this builder?

Your data is stored only in your own browser's local storage and never sent to any server. Close the tab and it is gone from our side entirely — which also means you should download your resume before leaving, since we cannot recover it for you.

How long should my resume be?

One page for under 5 years of experience, two pages maximum for senior profiles. Recruiters in Europe typically spend under a minute on a first scan, so lead with your strongest achievements and cut anything older than 10–15 years unless it is directly relevant.

Can I edit my resume later?

Yes — as long as you return in the same browser, your entries are auto-saved locally and the form reloads them. For long-term backup, download the HTML file.
