Why a Europe-specific 2027 calendar?

Most free calendar templates online are US-focused: weeks start on Sunday, and the only holidays marked are American ones. This calendar is built for Europe — weeks start on Monday (ISO 8601, the way European planners, schools and payroll systems count weeks), and the holidays marked are the real public holidays of 8 European countries: Germany, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Poland and Sweden. Every one of the 79 dates was individually verified, including the weekday it falls on.

What's inside

  • 12 monthly pages — January to December 2027, generated with correct weekdays (1 January 2027 is a Friday).
  • 79 verified public holidays — highlighted in gold with the holiday name on hover, per selected country.
  • Bridge-day ideas — the smartest single leave days per country to maximise long weekends in 2027.
  • Print-ready — a dedicated print stylesheet hides everything except the calendar; prints cleanly on A4.
  • Downloadable file — a self-contained printable HTML file with your country's holidays baked in.

2027 dates worth circling

Easter Sunday 2027 falls on 28 March — Good Friday (26 March) and Easter Monday (29 March) make a natural 4-day break in most of Europe. Christmas 2027 lands on a Saturday, so the UK gets substitute bank holidays on Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 December. Sweden's Midsummer Day is 26 June, the Netherlands celebrates King's Day on 27 April, and France's Bastille Day (14 July) falls mid-week — a classic faire le pont opportunity.
